Siteimprove
UC has chosen Siteimprove to help identify accessibility issues and track progress. Siteimprove performs automated accessibility tests, which will not uncover all accessibility issues. But, it does provide a great starting point for our accessibility work. Remember, progress, not perfection.
Getting started
To start using Siteimprove, login to Siteimprove with your CalNet credentials. All Berkeley users with a CalNet ID will be able to view accessibility data for all Berkeley websites. Mark your website as a favorite in Siteimprove.
Set up CMS deeplinking
If your site uses a content management system, such as WordPress, take the time to set up CMS deeplinking on Siteimprove. This will make it easier for you to fix the accessibility issues that Siteimprove flags. Read instructions or view the screencast below.

Add the Siteimprove priority script to your website
Adding the priority script shown below will help prioritize the accessibility issues on the most visited webpages. DAP has more information about the priority script.
Place the text shown below into your content management system so that it appears just above the closing </body> tag on your webpages.
<script async src="https://siteimproveanalytics.com/js/siteanalyze_6294756.js"></script>
The screencast below shows how to install the priority script using the WordPress Theme Customizer.
